Champaign group brings back tree-themed fundraiser

An annual festival that adds some extra sparkle to the holidays for Champaign and the surrounding communities will be returning this November, and the public is welcome to come out and view them in person.

The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana is organizing its Festival of Trees, and the sponsorship program for the activity is now open. Both trees and wreaths in a variety of sizes may be sponsored, and the premier tree sponsorship initiative will be back. Those companies that take advantage of this option will be able to help decorate an eight-foot-tall holiday evergreen, and those that do will receive tickets for the festivities as well as having their logo design displayed prominently for the public to see.

The proceeds from this annual event are used for the benefit of the community, and it was noted that decoration services may be available at no cost. The function and its sponsors will be promoted on several social media platforms, and the planners estimate this could have a reach of thousands in the local area.

The trees used in a fundraiser like this are often decorated using themed decor, and this may be ordered from a printing service company. It will be able to use whichever color scheme its customers wish, with a wide variety to choose from.

The 2021 Junior League of Champaign-Urbana will be open to the public from November 19 to 21.
