Champaign conference to welcome railway industry

This fall, the University of Illinois’ campus at Urbana-Champaign will be the location for a conference for those who work in the rail sector, and it will have a focus on the environment.

The organizers of the 23rd Railroad Environmental Conference have put together an agenda filled with learning, with time built into the schedule for the attendees to network and share their own personal best practices. The AAR Environmental Affairs Committee and the AREMA Committee 13 will also hold their autumn meeting during the event.

A variety of subject matter experts will be sharing their knowledge through presentations, workshops and other activities, and it will give everyone in attendance an opportunity to make sure their knowledge is current. They will be able to strengthen current career relationships and build new ones.

The function will be held in the Newmark Civil Engineering Laboratory on the University’s campus. For an educational event like this, conference packages that contain promotional Pens, Notebooks, and other informational materials prepared by a professional brochure printing source can be prepared to distribute ahead of the event or left at registration tables.

This symposium for the railroad industry is set to begin on October 26, and it will continue on through October 27. More details, and the logo designs of the sponsors of the gathering, can be found on its website.
