Beer and cheese can be a winning combination, and will be the stars of the show during an activity coming up at an area beer company.
The team at Riggs Beer Company will be supplying the suds for its afternoon of beer and cheese pairings. Champaign’s Cheese and Crackers Deli will be providing the food, and it will take place in a semi-private area of Riggs Taproom.
Participants will be treated to several different beers paired with cheeses and crackers, and the facilitators will guide the exploration. Anyone who would like to purchase cheese, crackers or meats to take home will be able to do so.
The organizers have asked everyone to arrive three to ten minutes in advance so they can get settled in. As alcohol will be served, the function is limited to those age 21 and up, and IDs will be required.
A tasting event may attract the epicurious, and a printing services company will be able to provide a range of custom Drinkware and other items. These may be printed with a venue’s logo or other graphics.
This chance for beer and cheese lovers to discover how well this combination can work together will be on offer on Sunday, February 23, running from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Tickets are $46.65 when purchase through the function's web listing.
