A crafting class is on the way for the Champaign area, and those who take part will walk away with a piece of Halloween decor they can treasure for a long time to come.
Yellow & Co., which is located in Mahomet, has plans in the works for a Halloween House workshop, which will be suitable for those with an intermediate skill level. Each ticket holder will be able to create their own customized creation, and there will be lots of materials available for them to use.
The listing for the workshop explained that there will be two different sized projects to pick from, and they can be worked on individually or by pairs of crafters. They can be scary, funny or cute depending on the colors chosen and how they are embellished, and everyone will be encouraged to get creative. The attendees may bring along snacks if they wish, and beverages will be on offer for purchase.
While a crafting class may be a lot of fun, the organizers also need to take care of the business side of offering an event. A printer will be able to help, and can prepare everything from company Letterheads to liability waivers for the attendees to sign.
Mamomet’s Yellow & Co will be kicking off this class at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 18. It will continue until 6:00 pm.
