Fundraising ball set for Coeur d'Alene

A popular annual fundraiser is once again scheduled in Coeur d'Alene.

The Cowboy Ball benefits the North Idaho Fair & Rodeo Foundation. The Foundation offers funding at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds for capital improvements. The Foundation also provides educational opportunities for young people in the area via scholarships, and by supporting educational courses at the North Idaho State Fair and the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. A live auction is part of the fun, and there is still time for people to donate items to the event.

The North Idaho Fair & Rodeo Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides a platform for families, businesses, and friends of the fair to play a part in its future by supporting the organization’s programs.

Many people are surprised when they learn that the fairgrounds receives less than 10% of its yearly budget from taxes, which means it is critical to find other support for its programs. The Foundation seeks to make up the shortfall by encouraging the community to back the fairgrounds.

The ball will take place in the Jacklin Building at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds in Coeur d'Alene on April 18. The doors will open at 5.00 pm, and parking is accessed via the Kathleen (F) Gate. This is a ticketed event open to those 21 and over only. When they plan celebrations such as this, organizations can use banner printing to create decorations for the venue.
