Coeur d'Alene resort sees major expansion

Coeur d’Alene residents can look forward to new availability for dining, social gatherings, and scenic views, as a local resort increases its footprint.

Construction of Sherman Tower, an addition to the Coeur d’Alene Resort, is underway. Upon completion, it will add 139 new rooms for the complex, including three luxury suites. Other planned offerings include a Mexican seafood and steak restaurant, a fitness room, a business center, and a rooftop bar with retractable glass walls. Two kitchens will serve each floor, with a cafe and lounge in the lobby area. Each room will have a lake view, thanks to the single-loaded corridor design.

Coeur d’Alene Resort Marketing Director Amy VanSickle recently praised the contractors’ dedication to project timelines, noting that plans are proceeding ahead of schedule so far. For example, Interstate Concrete must pour about 800 cubic yards of concrete in one day for each floor, requiring 20 truck drivers to make four trips daily from their base in Post Falls.

Bill Reagan, president of the Coeur d’Alene Resort, recently expressed his enthusiasm for the project:

“We’re not just building a hotel—we’re creating a place where locals and visitors alike can enjoy new dining, social spaces, and scenic views, all while driving economic growth for our beloved city.”

Hagadone Hospitality owns the Coeur d'Alene Resort, which was recently ranked by Newsweek magazine as its #1 Waterfront Hotel. Project completion is expected by May 2027. Business expansions can be signaled by the use of poster printing or other services from print shops.
