Coeur d'Alene resort hosts state conference

Officials from across Idaho will convene in Coeur D’Alene in the spring in a conference for county law enforcement officials.

The Idaho Sheriffs’ Association (ISA) and Idaho Jail Administrators Association (IJAA) have announced their spring conference for mid-April. This gathering allows county sheriffs, deputies, and jail administrators to participate in discussion groups and network to solve mutual problems. Attendees can expect a wide range of sponsors and exhibitors as well, showcasing some of the latest technology in law enforcement. Conference organizers often find flyer printing or banner printing useful at large events.

The ISA represents the interests of sheriffs from across Idaho’s 44 counties. The organization supports elected sheriffs with educational, legislative, and training support. According to their website, important conference topics include input from various officials and moderated discussion between members. The organization also features a new “school” every four years for sheriffs, as they are elected on the same schedule as U.S. presidents.

The IJAA works in concert with the ISA to improve and coordinate training for jailers and also seeks to standardize jail administration practices across the state. The two organizations typically conference twice yearly.

The ISA & IJAA Spring Conference will be held April 13-16, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM each day. The venue is the Coeur D’Alene Resort at 115 South 2nd Street. Those who would like further information may call 208-209-5031.
