A conference in Coeur d’Alene is set to offer a day of support and resources for those caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.
The 2nd Annual North Idaho Alzheimer's Caregiver Conference will feature expert speakers from the field of Alzheimer's care. The main theme of the conference will be caregiving techniques and the resources available to help caregivers manage the challenges they face. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences with fellow caregivers and gain valuable knowledge to enhance their caregiving approach. The event is designed to support family caregivers by offering information on navigating the complexities of Alzheimer's care, with a focus on practical strategies and emotional support.
This free community event is open to all caregivers, though space is limited, and registration is required. Participants will be provided with a complimentary lunch, along with a light breakfast and snacks throughout the day. Beverages, including water, tea, and coffee, will be available. Conferences are usually set up and decorated with banner printing.
In addition, respite care will be offered for the first 21 registrants through One Site for Seniors. This service allows caregivers to attend the conference while ensuring their loved ones are taken care of. Respite care spots are limited, and confirmation is required from One Site for Seniors.
