The Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando will be holding its annual plant sale over a weekend later this month.
This is an annual event where there are over 50 vendors and growers selling a variety of plants and accessories for the outdoors. It is recommended that people coming along looking to make a purchase bring a plant cart or wagon for their purchases.
Leu Gardens most likely turned to a local Print company to create a map of the Gardens for the sale, highlighting the vendors selling plants, those selling garden-related items and those selling food.
Once people have finished their shopping, they can participate in one of the three classes being held on Saturday.
There will be a class on adding seasonal vegetables and herbs to breakfast recipes presented by Robert Bowden, Director of the Garden; another on creating one-of-a-kind floral arrangements, presented by Teresa Bremer Eddy, owner of Patioscapes; and another on the beneficial bugs and insects that live in gardens, held by Dena Wild, a retired urban designer.
The sale will take place on Saturday March 12 and Sunday March 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Those who are members of the Leu Gardens will be able to shop early on Saturday beginning at 8:00 a.m. by showing their membership card.Get a Free Quote for Print
