Classic film and motorcycle fans to enjoy Orlando science center exhibits

The Orlando Science Center is currently hosting two new traveling exhibits.

The first is a family-friendly adventure of self-discovery called ‘The Wizard of Oz Educational Exhibit’. Attendees will follow the Yellow Brick Road from Kansas to the Land of Oz and back, and explore Emerald City, Munchkinland, and the Witch's Castle.

During their travels, attendees will be involved in a variety of scientific activities. In Dorothy’s Bedroom, they will create their own tornado. There will be the opportunity to climb the mountain to the castle of the Wicked Witch of the West to capture her broom from the winged monkeys. In Emerald City, they can play at the prism stations and kaleidoscope and create a ‘Horse of a Different Color’.

The other family-friendly exhibit is ‘Hands-On Harley-Davidson’. It is a pretend motorcycle dealership in a scaled-down version, with two motorcycles that are kid-sized and inspired by a Harley-Davidson Road King.

There will be the chance to create a motorcycle using custom interchangeable motor parts and accessories. A virtual ride through the streets of Milwaukee will be made possible by an interactive first-person riding experience complete with throttle, wind effects, and working turn signals.

Both exhibits run through May 1. Brochure printing may be used by the Museum to create souvenir materials of these exhibits so that attendees have something to take home with them following the exhibits.
