talian food and wine lovers in Pembroke Pines and Miramar needn’t book an overseas flight to enjoy the country’s cuisine. A local restaurant is hosting an elegant evening featuring great European food and wines.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant will host Summer in Sicily in mid-July. Attendees will enjoy a multi-course meal, with curated wine selections provided with each course. The evening will begin with a glass of Prosecco wine. Pane Rustico with olive oil infused with black pepper follows. Other courses include Sausage Arancini and Palermo-Style Tenderloin Medallions, and the evening will top off with Flourless Chocolate Cannoli Cake. Featured wines include Cooper’s Hawk Exclusive July Wine of the Month, Zibibbo, as well as Camille Magnificent and a Pistachio Martini at the end. Diners are welcome to substitute their own wine selections from Cooper’s Hawk’s wine list if they wish.
Flyer printing can be used to list food and wine pairings for attendees at events like these and kept for reference afterwards.
The event will be held on Sunday, July 13, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The restaurant’s address is 10310 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines. The cost is $79 per person, which includes all tax and gratuity.
