R&B group to play at Miramar performance venue

The group Floetry and a special musical guest will visit the Miramar Cultural Center in May during their tour.

Say Yes The Tour is the return of Floetry, an R&B duo consisting of Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie Stewart. The pair hasn’t gone on a national run together since 2016. The duo is known for combining spoken word performances with soulful vocals and music. Floetry started in 1997 when Ambrosius and Stewart met in London. The group has written several original songs, such as If I Was a Bird, Let Me In, and Mr. Messed Up. They have also worked with companies like DreamWorks.

The special musical guest for the tour will be Raheem DeVaughn. He is the founder of the LoveLife Foundation and was a host for the Original Quiet Storm on WHUR FM. DeVaughn has performed with many notable singers, including Patti LaBelle and Kirk Franklin. He has produced several original tracks, like The Pleasure Will Be Mine, Put Me Back On, and Lay Your Head. DeVaughn even won the Biden Administration 2023 Presidential Volunteer Award.

The Floetry concert will be held on Saturday, May 2nd from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets to the live show will start at $80 per person, though prices will increase depending on where people choose to sit in the auditorium. Performance venues that hold shows like this can get people interested in the events by using poster printing services.
