The Miramar Parks Department will hold a family-friendly activity in April at Miramar Regional Park.
The Easter Eggstravaganza is an annual tradition in Miramar that invites local families to participate in an egg hunt and other kid-friendly activities. The festival will include a sports zone for children and will have photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. There will also be food trucks at the park, and attendees can take home goodie Bags from the event. Other activities at the festival include an Egg & Spoon Race, sack races, face painting, and inflatable attractions.
The Easter event will be hosted by Maxwell Chambers, the current commissioner of Miramar. Chambers was first elected as the town’s commissioner in 2015, and then he became the vice mayor of Miramar in 2016. He was re-elected as the commissioner in 2017 and 2021. Chambers has been involved in several community projects, such as the Canal Embankment Program, the Traffic Calming Devices Initiative, and Kids and the Power of Work (KAPOW).
The family-friendly festival will take place on Saturday, April 4th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Easter event will be free for all families, and no registration is needed to attend the activities. Cities that are in charge of seasonal community gatherings like this can inform people about their events via custom Signs made with flyer printing services.
