An art event will be taking place in Miramar this February, entitled “Redlining: An Art Engagement Dialogue.”
During the event, attendees will be a part of a space where activists, leaders, and artists converge to highlight the contemporary and historical effects of redlining, in homage of Black History Month.
Attendees will be able to immerse themselves in a thought-inspiring day of artistic dialogue, and gain reflection and expression as the event unfolds. Through visually compelling art installations, interactive activities, and engaging discussions, participants will gain a more in-depth knowledge of redlining and the enduring impacts it has had on different neighborhoods.
The event facilitates communication between community artists, leaders, and other attendees, fostering an exploration of how art plays a role in driving social change. This transformative experience aims to challenge inequality and visualize a future of equality. Attendees are encouraged to contribute their voices to the conversation, seizing a unique chance to get in touch with like-minded individuals through art.
Brochure printing can be a great way for hosts to provide information about art events such as this one.
The date and time of the event will be Monday, February 5 from 6:30pm to 8pm. Ansin Family Art Gallery, 2400 Civic Center Pl, Miramar, Florida will be the venue, and the event is free for all to attend.
