The 5th staging of the annual Protect the Children fundraising gala, presented by the Female Development World Organization, will focus on child abuse and human trafficking.
The Female Development World Organization was founded in January 2013 to bring awareness to the global issue of trafficking and abuse. Its aim is to educate the public about the prevention of human trafficking and to assist with the rehabilitation of victims and survivors. The organization also provides educational resources and access to mentorship programs to young women living in the Caribbean and the US.
The event will start with a cocktail followed by a dinner reception. Those interested in attending can make individual donations or reserve a table for multiple guests. Tickets cost $100 plus ticketing fees per person, or a table sponsorship for eight people can be purchased for $1,000.
Brochure printing is a creative and multifaceted way for event organizers to provide information about issues affecting people across the world.
The fundraising gala will take place on Saturday, July 16, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It will be held at the Miramar Cultural Center at 2400 Civic Center Place. Visit the event listing online for more information or to register for the event. Guests are also reminded that the human trafficking hotline is available at 888-373-7888 if they see anything suspicious.
