Henna art comes to Miramar

A henna art class is to be held in Miramar this July.

The event is a teen-focused initiative, where students will be able to creatively learn to design and draw their own henna art. The class will be a comprehensive course in the history of henna, its traditional purposes, and the basic steps to create henna designs. With this knowledge, students may make their own temporary tattoos. Attendees will work with the dye of the henna plant, creating a long-lasting stain that will give the illusion of tattooing.

Students will have the opportunity to practice hands-on learning with step-by-step instructional guidance. At the end of the class, they are welcome to take home the leftover dye to work with. The venue will offer an intimate setting for optimal learning to take place. The class lasts for one hour, and offers a limited seating capacity of 20 students.

The sessions are sponsored by the Broward Public Library Foundation. As such, the cost for attendance will be free. Further information on the class session will be available on the event listing website.

Brochure printing can be a great way to impart additional information about the practices of henna at events such as this one.

This class will take place on July 13 at the Miramar Library. This is located at 2050 Civic Center Place, Miramar. It begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 6:00 pm.
