There will be a Performing Arts Camp held in Leesburg this July, being hosted by SparKyL Education, Inc.
The host is a non-profit organization that aims to give training and education to individuals in the central part of Florida, concentrating on the areas of community and art.
The camp is for Middle School children interested in performance and production. Included will be scene and monologue work. Individuals who would like to get involved can aid in the production of the mall performance.
Registration is required to be a part of the event. The cost for attendees who complete their registration before next Wednesday, May 31 will be $25, and the cost after that date will be $40. The cost for one week of the camp is $125. Registration costs are non-refundable and should be paid a week ahead of the camp. Once the camp has ended a showcase performance will be put on in the mall on Saturday, July 29.
Print shops can provide helpful prints for attendees to use in performances at camps such as this one.
The camp will go from Monday, July 10 to Saturday, July 29. The daily times of the camp will be from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm, Mondays to Thursdays. Its location will be at Lake Square Mall at 10401 U.S. 441, Leesburg.
