Florida is known for its art festivals, and Leesburg will welcome the return of its own festival in March, in an event likely to increase traffic and provide local businesses with a chance to shine.
The ROTARY Leesburg Arts Festival is now in its 49th year. The event features original art and craft creations, entertainment, food, and more. Over 75 exhibitors are expected to attend. Patrons can expect to see a variety of art works, including ceramics, pencil drawings, handmade glass creations, jewelry, paintings, and mixed media works. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Leesburg, Insight Credit Union, Beacon College, and Rotary International. Flyer printing and similar services from Print shops help promote entrepreneurial efforts.
The Leesburg Sunrise Rotary Club received its charter from the international body in 1981 and works to benefit Leesburg through community service. Its website states:
“We are proud to be members of the world's oldest service club, founded in 1905, and to be associated with its strong record of local and international community service.”
The ROTARY Leesburg Arts Festival will be underway during the March 14 to 15 weekend at Towne Square in Leesburg, located at 500 West Main Street. The daily hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free for all and parking is also free. More information is available on the official website.
