Leesburg receives ultra-fast data service

Leesburg residents currently have access to high-speed internet through cable and DSL service, but a new offering is in the works that will significantly up the ante on data speed.

Wire 3 has announced that construction has begun on a fiber optic infrastructure connecting the Leesburg, Eustis, Mount Dora, and Tavares communities. The project is funded by $100 million in private equity, and the company expects to begin service by winter 2025.

Wire 3 CEO Jai Ramachandran recently said:

“We look forward to connecting thousands of residents and businesses to a cutting-edge network that will deliver the fastest speeds available for today and the next 100 years.”

The company will offer residents and businesses three plans. The Ascent plan will serve data at one gigabyte per second (GPS) for $60 monthly. The Orbit plan offers 2.5 GPS for $80, and the Warp Speed plan delivers 10 GPS for $99 monthly. Free installation and a WiFi router are provided at no charge for new customers. Flyer printing or other Graphic Design Services are useful to spread news of new business offerings.

According to their website, Wire 3 is the largest internet provider in Florida. The company offers no-contract plans with no data caps or hidden fees. Unlike other technologies, Wire 3’s fiber optic services feature the same data transfer rates whether uploading or downloading.

Pre-sale signup information may be obtained on the company’s website.
