Hamburger restaurant to open in Leesburg

Leesburg has a dynamic commercial community, and residents may be pleased to find that a new national hamburger chain will soon be opening its doors for business in the area.

Culver’s, a fast food chain based in Wisconsin, is expanding into Florida and will open a new location in town within a few weeks. Known for its trademark ButterBurgers and frozen custard, Culver's has over 1000 restaurants in 26 states and is opening over 50 per year nationally. The chain began in 1984, and its homestyle vibe has made it a national favorite.

The new restaurant is planned to be near Leesburg International Airport at the Silver Lake Commons development. Other Culver’s locations are in the planning stages for Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Fort Meade, and Ruskin. Restaurant openings are often publicized through banner printing or other graphic design products.

In his announcement of the news, Mayor Alan Reisman stated:

“We are excited to see the continued growth of new restaurants and shops here in Leesburg. As Leesburg continues to thrive, we look forward to many prosperous years ahead, ensuring that our city remains a wonderful place to live, work, and visit.”

According to the Culver’s website, the new location will be located at 9423 US Highway 441 in Leesburg. Several other businesses are scheduled to open in the area as well, including a Zaxby’s restaurant and a Circle K convenience store.
