An accomplished solo violinist is coming to the Orlando area to charm music lovers.
Omari Dillard, known as The Soul Violinist, was raised in the Tampa Bay area and is returning to the state to perform his unique repertoire at a late-June performance. The City of Leesburg is featuring Dillard at its annual Jazz in Venetian Gardens.
Dillard is a versatile performer, covering many musical genres such as jazz, rhythm and blues, country, gospel, rock, and pop styles. His performance venues span the globe and include the United States, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. According to his website, 90% of Dillard’s performance venues were sold out each of the three years of his national tours, and he was nominated Best Instrumentalist of the Bay in 2019. Mr. Dillard’s social media posts have received over two million views, and he’s appeared on CBS10News, Fox32News, and NBC’s Daytime TV show.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 7:00 PM at The Venetian Center. The venue address is 1 Dozier Circle in Leesburg, near Pat Thomas Stadium.
