The Leesburg Center for the Arts (LCFA) invites aspiring artists to join in at the Art Lounge-Share & Create sessions, which will include an open mic and stage presentations.
This two-part event emphasizes the value of co-creating art with one’s peers, applying a variety of media from acrylic painting to photography. Tables will be set up for people to display art projects, while the stage is reserved for performers during the Open Stage-Art Share portion.
The Art Lounge-Share & Create will bring together members of the creative community, especially those specializing in fine arts and design.
House lights will shine above the art studio, giving off an urban feel for guests who want to take pride in their best works. Fellow artists have space to simply socialize; via sharing their favorite music, performing improvised comedy, or filming multimedia videos.
The LCFA permits guests to bring their own art pieces or musical instruments on stage if the situation calls for it. Patrons are encouraged to experiment with new styles using art supplies found in the lounge area.
Artists, performers, and graphic design gurus interested in presenting their creations should reserve a timeslot so that they can demonstrate their talents in front of an audience. This event will begin on Wednesday, November 6, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. A $5 donation is suggested.
