Leesburg will host its Naughty or Nice 5K next month. The event will also take place in DeBary and Lake Mary.
Runners will tread a pre-set course set along Silver Lake. The race is also a festive affair, so participants are encouraged to wear holiday-themed costumes. This year’s race will have an limit of 500 participants, so locals are encouraged to preregister if they want to partake. Santa will also be at the event for anyone wanting to take pictures with him.
Top male and female runners for their age group will receive awards for their efforts. Also, organizers will hand out awards for the top overall male and female runners. Furthermore, participants should pick up their race packets on race day an hour before the event starts. Each person will also receive a race shirt, which typically features a special graphic design. These shirts are guaranteed as long as the person registers before December 9.
The Naughty or Nice 5K will take place on December 11 and will begin at 8:00 AM. The start location is at LSSC – 9501 US Highway 441. Registration for the event is $35 or $40, depending on whether participants want to replace their shirts with a jacket. For those unable to make the race in person, there is also a $25 virtual option.
