Leesburg residents interested in learning more about agriculture and farming are in luck, as an educational tour is planning to take guests on a journey to explore farms in Lake County.
The 2024 Lake County Farm Tour will begin welcoming guests next month. It will offer an educational experience for individuals who want to learn more about farming. Instructors will provide attendees with the history of agriculture in Lake County and its economic importance for the area’s growth and prosperity.
The event is ideal for individuals who enjoy spending time outdoors. The gathering will be the 15th annual farm tour, which is being offered by the University of Florida IFAS Extension. The tour will begin at the UF/IFAS Extension Office auditorium. Each attendee will enjoy a ride on a charter bus. Brochure printing effectively provides in-depth information to guests on such tours to aid the learning process.
The tour will be led by experienced extension agents who will discuss information at each section and answer any questions. The stops will include a vineyard, winery, native plant landscape nursery, and a citrus plantation. Snacks, lunch, and goodie Bags are included.
The tour will begin on Friday, November 22nd, at 8:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. It will visit working farms, and proper footwear is encouraged. Tickets cost $50 online.Get a Free Quote for Bags
