There will be a course taking place in Leesburg this August, reaching out to those involved in young children’s education.
Called “A Scaffolding and Think, Show, Tell, Talk; Language and Vocabulary Development for Preschoolers,” it is being organized by Dianna Aguirre.
This comprehensive instructor-led program is designed for directors, administrative individuals, and teachers engaged with children between the ages of three to five. The course focuses on effective Language Scaffolding and Think, Show, Tell, Talk teaching strategies to foster language, vocabulary, and oral skills in young learners. The program will equip preschool teachers with the ability to introduce diverse vocabulary and seize every opportunity during the school day to develop language skills.
The curriculum comprises three distinct learning elements – an online or instructor-led module, a practical lesson planning and application segment, and a virtual reflection session. Completing all three components grants participants five hours or 0.5 CEU credits. Furthermore, this course satisfies five hours needed for emergent literacy training for VPK (voluntary pre-kindergarten) educators.
