Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and Doctors Hospital will be hosting their 26th Flamingle Across the Finish Line Tour of the Gables 5k and 10k in mid-April.
The course will take runners through The City Beautiful on a scenic route starting and finishing at City Hall, 405 Biltmore Way.
The 5k run/walk will begin at 7:00 am and registration will be $40 until April 9 and $45 thereafter. The 10k will also begin at 7:00 am and registration will be $50 until April 9 and $55 after that until race day. The Kids’ Dash for little ones ages two through nine will be a fun run starting at 8:00 am. Registration will be $15.
Group teams and corporate teams are being organized. Some corporate teams already posted are AXA, Latinas in Motion, Pita Weber Del Prado, Run for Food, and Southeast Veterinary Neurology.
Packets will be available in the registration tent starting at 6:00 am on race day.
Swag will include T-Shirts featuring the race’s current year graphic design, and the first 600 finishers will receive custom medals. Awards will go to the first-, second-, and third-place finishers in each age division and to the top overall male and female finishers. Results for both races will be posted on the event’s website.
The 26th annual Flamingle Across the Finish Line Tour of The Gables 5k/10k will be Saturday, April 15 at George E. Merrick Park, 405 Biltmore Way.
