The historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables will host the city’s special America 250 Independence Day festivities.
This year’s Fourth of July celebration and fireworks show will include the addition of a unique choreographed drone light show.
Patriotic-themed imagery of local and national symbols and icons will be displayed across the dark sky to celebrate the community and the country’s independence. The images will be visible across a two-mile radius. Prior to the main fireworks and drone event, the crowds will be entertained by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band.
For community members with autism or sensory sensitivities, a separate event will be held to meet their needs. There will be outdoor sensory-friendly games and activities, plus access to an indoor quiet area with a prime view of the fireworks.
The City of Coral Gables has secured sponsorships in order to present the evening celebrations. Contributing businesses will have their branding included as part of the aerial light show. Print shops often provide companies with Logo Design services for use in this type of advertising.
The Coral Gables Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, July 4, with the gates open to the Biltmore Hotel grounds at 6:00 pm. The fireworks show will start at 9:00 pm. The sensory event will be held at the nearby Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park.
