Coral Gables will have events such as fall photos, hocus pocus for senior citizens, trick or treating, pumpkin carving and a haunted house geared to Halloween coming at the end of October.
Coral Gables residents and visitors may take fall photos at Ponce Circle Park's Pumpkin patch beginning at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 21st. Guests may also enjoy the food, drinks, live music and face painting. Another photo opportunity will be at Giralda Plaza's Pumpkin Arch. The arch will remain up until Thursday, November 23rd.
Photos taken at Halloween events often go to local Print shops to become part of family Calendars.
Older citizens are invited to dress in Halloween costumes and attend Spooktacular Halloween Bash at the Adult Activity Center beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 27th.
Miracle Mile will have a Trick-or-Treat on the Mile from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday the 28th. Businesses will be passing out candy and other activities will include Actors' Playhouse presenting Stuart Little, Villains on Broadway, and a costume parade; a doggie Halloween contest at the museum; face painting, balloon artists, and a magic show at LeJeune Plaza. Books and Books will be holding a Spooky Children's Story Hour beginning at 5:00 pm.
A haunted house will be put on by the Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center on Monday, October 31st from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
