Those here in Coral Gables who adore Italian food and wine may enjoy going to the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast’s Authentic Italian Food and Wine Festival coming in early June.
Authentic Italian bakeries, restaurants, and gourmet markets will be showcasing their signature dishes in complimentary bites of genuine Italian cheese, pasta, pizza, cold cuts, and gelato. These will be served at over 30 tasting stations, with more than 150 wine and food products. Guests can enjoy some food combinations that they may not have experienced in the past and treat themselves to real Italian pizza in the Pizza Village.
Napkins and other paper products used at nationally themed events such as this often feature the event’s graphic design printed in the colors of the country’s flag – in this case green, red, and white.
Italian food and wine experts will be on hand discussing their areas of expertise and giving demonstrations.
Tickets that include unlimited bites and pours until supplies run out are $42 and must be purchased online before the event, as no tickets will be available at the door. Guests must be 21 or over.
This Grand Tasting at the Authentic Italian Food and Wine Festival will take place Wednesday, June 7 between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm at the Coral Gables Country Club, 997 N. Greenway Drive.
