Innovators, artists, and makers in the Coral Gables community will be coming together to support the Miami Maker Faire in mid-April.
The event has been created to celebrate creativity, invention, and resourcefulness by exhibiting what local makers are currently working on. Many exhibitors will offer hands-on activities, projects, and experiments at their stalls, where tech enthusiasts, educators, crafts persons, engineers, hobbyists, authors, students, or any other curious individuals may learn new skills and get some ideas about projects they can do in the future. In the past, some activities have involved drones, making buttons, robot derbies, retro arcades, making T-Shirts, and miniature race cars.
Adult general admission tickets are priced between $47 and $50.
Sponsorships for this DIY extravaganza are available in three types. Some businesses choose to simply donate cash, while others may contribute in-kind support such as printing Posters and Banners and creating signage. Another option is to contribute media sponsorships such as free advertising, promotion, and other publicizing options.
Sponsorship proceeds will go to Moonlighter FabLab, a non-profit organization that promotes South Florida maker programs in community groups, schools and Makerspaces.
Occasionally, a supporter will get some poster printing done so they can put Posters up in their communities, businesses, and associations to get the word out.
The Miami Marker Faire 2024 will take place on April 13th and 14th in the Watsco Center, 1245 Dauer Drive in Coral Gables, beginning at 10:00 am.Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts Get a Free Quote for Posters
