Washington workshop to introduce joys of houseplant horticulture

While many people enjoy houseplants, not everyone knows how to care for them, so a Washington workshop hopes to change that.

A learning opportunity for those who are new to the culture and cultivation of plants in the home is set to be offered this fall, led by a representative of Grounded Plants. The host explained it can be a good option for those who have little-to-no experience with home horticulture, and it will start with the basics.

During the workshop, attendees will discover a variety of plants that are easy to look after for beginners, and everyone will get some hands-on experience in transplanting and repotting. They can ask questions and meet others who are interested in the hobby, and when they leave at the end of the session, everyone will walk away with a pot, some soil, and a new green addition to their home.

Those who are new to growing houseplants may have questions, and supplying each participant in a class like this with a booklet of tips will make it easier for them to get started. These may be ordered from a brochure printing company.

Grounded Plants noted that this activity is scheduled to be held on November 6 at 12:00 pm. The venue for the activity can be found at 1353 Wisconsin Avenue.
