A Washington venue that is usually closed to the public has released the date for an event that will give horticulturists from the local area, as well as further afield, the inside scoop on its day-to-day operations.
The United States Botanical Garden (USBG) Production Facility has organized its spring Open House. It offers 85,000 square feet of growing space, and is home to species from all over the world.
Visitors to the location will be able to view thousands of species, and rare plants, orchids, and carnivorous plants will all be in the mix, along with more common types. Everyone interested can register for a specific start time, and there will be staff gardeners to meet and answer questions. The attendees may wander at their own pace.
An open house event like this gives a venue an opportunity to showcase itself to the public, and it may require a variety of printing services. Organizers can order Promotional Products and a wide assortment of other custom items from area Print professionals.
The USBG is set to roll out the welcome mat for this annual open house on Saturday, March 7. It will begin at 10:00 am and continues for four and a half hours. Admission is free but there is a charge for parking, which may be purchased as an add on.
