Washington fundraiser to offer families safari experience

Being homeless can be especially hard on kids, and an organization that works to make their days a little bit brighter has an event in store for the Washington area.

Hope for Kids has plans in the works for its Fall Festival and Costume Party, which is intended for the community's younger set to enjoy along with their parents or guardians. The festivities will have a safari theme, and everyone can wear a costume if they wish.

The festival will feature a variety of themed activities, and there will be social guests on hand for them to meet. Live music is on the agenda, and food, games and other activities will all be on offer. Prizes will be presented, and it was explained in its listing that the occasion will provide a taste of what Extra-Ordinary Birthdays provides to homeless children.

In order to ensure that this function will be a big success, the planners are seeking corporate sponsors as well as volunteers and vendors. It is anticipated that it will attract a large crowd, making it a chance for Washington-based companies to connect with potential customers, and Business Cards will make it easy for these establishments to share their contact information.

This chance to help give a child experiencing homeless a chance to enjoy a special birthday party planned just for them will be held on November 6. American University, which can be found at 4400 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest.
