Washington festival to celebrate love of companion animals

A day planned with pet parents in mind will soon be taking over a Washington area venue, and the fun will help to bring homeless companion animals in from the cold.

The Columbia Pike Partnership will be giving every dog, cat, and other furry, feathery and scaly friend their day during an event on offer to the public free of charge. There will be an assortment of veterinary health professionals, service providers and shop representatives taking part for the attendees to meet, and there are other activities on the agenda as well.

The function will connect the public with trainers, pet sitters and other professionals in the pet care industry, and there will be animals on site for a meet and greet. A photographer will be on hand to get some family photos, and everyone can do some shopping for themselves or their furry friend. A DJ will be supplying the entertainment, and several sponsors have already signed on for the day.

Many organizers opt to build an event around a central theme. This can be incorporated into the decor, Letterheads and other items prepared for an occasion by a banner printing company.

This celebration of the value pets can add to people’s lives will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30. More details about the festivities can be found on the Columbia Pike Partnership website.
