Upcoming show will rev the engines of motorcycle fans

The International Motorcycle Show is coming to Washington, D. C. next month for three days, presented by Progressive.

There are expected to be over 1,200 motorcycles on hand, including both new models and classics. The Progressive Parlor is set to feature live motorcycle demonstrations, barber and manicure services at Flo’s Chop Shop and a display of the newest vehicles and products.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Sunset Jam, the Gatsby Affair, and other acts. Several speakers will be on hand to provide tips and information, including Glen Heggstad, Alex Rossborough, and Rickey Gadson. There will also be a Kids Zone for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years, with a bike track and a painting demonstration.

The Inked Tattoo Parlor will be providing temporary airbrushed tattoos, the marketplace will have lots of motorcycle accessories for sale, and the Yamaha Champions Racing School will give tips on better riding.

The Progressive Parlor will also be handing out Promotional Products such as fridge magnets and custom Pens to those attending this Washington show.

The International Motorcycle Show will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from January 6 to 8. Admission is $16 for those ages 12 and up.
