The Washington Nationals baseball team is hosting Winterfest, which will take place over two days next month.
This will be an opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with their favorite baseball players, with autographs, question and answer sessions, and photo ops available. Santa Claus will also be posting for photographs.
Activities such as the Steal Home challenge, life-sized snow globes, and The Slider will entertain people of all ages. There are set to be batting cages, video games, and a lounge for adults. Organizations such as the Youth Baseball Academy and the Nationals Summer Camps will be holding demonstrations.
The Kids Zone will feature story times and press conferences with players.
Those attending are asked to donate toys to the Greater Washington Urban League. Each donator will receive a ticket for a chance for them and a friend to meet a Nationals player.
Season ticket holders will receive a $5 discount on admission and will be let in an hour before the general public.
Washington, DC Print companies will likely be providing tickets and advertising materials to advertise this annual event.
Winterfest will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from December 12 to 13. Admission is $30 for adults and $20 for children, although the price will go up closer to the event. Visit the Washington Nationals website to learn more.Get a Free Quote for Print
