Summer set to get a kick-start

The DC Summerfest in Washington D.C. will kick off the summer season in the USA’s capital this weekend. The annual event attracts thousands of attendees, all of whom are 21 years of age or older.

There will be over 100 craft beers available, along with cider. More than 20 wines will offer tastings to go along with the 15+ food temptations. Live entertainment will perform for the audiences throughout the day, as well.

Combining the tastings and food with outdoor games, as well as arts and other activities, promises a fun day for adults as they relax and enjoy the sunshine at the Half Street Fairgrounds.

Banner printing can be ordered through local Print companies for the vendors. Vendors typically have booth space or a table designated at the event, and Banners can be hung across the back of the booth or from the front table for visitors to see the company name.

Local transportation will be available through a partnership with HAILO and the Summerfest. A taxi can be arranged through the HAILO application via smartphones.

Volunteers are always needed for large outdoor events, and they receive free entry or a gift card for some of the sessions. A T-shirt is also part of the volunteering package, along with a pizza lunch prior to the scheduled shift.
