Peruvian food and culture in the Washington spotlight

The country of Peru has its own unique culture and cuisine, and Washington foodies who would like to sample a menu of favorites from this South American nation will soon have a chance to do so.

Taste of Peru Washington D.C. sees some of the top Peruvian chefs and restaurateurs showing off their talents in “Taste of Peru,” and this will be accompanied by cooking demos and other live entertainment. The tickets entitle the bearer to admission for the day, as well as the demonstrations and entertainment.

A large selection of vendors will be included in the event, and the attendees are welcome to purchase food, handcrafts, or other goods, and most of the prices are expected to sit between $3 and $10. The organizers explained that there will be a security screening at the door, and guests are asked to be sure they bring along their tickets.

The University of the District of Columbia will be welcoming guests for this celebration of the food and culture that makes Peru specia,l starting at 10:00 am, and the doors will remain open until 6:00 pm. A Print shop’s graphic design team will be able to create a wide selection of themed decor for this type of function.

Taste of Peru Washington D.C. has been planned for June 2. All ages are encouraged to be a part of this cultural experience.
