D.C. fundraisers looks to sleigh the opposition

The Holiday Sleigh 5K will take place in Washington D C in a couple of months. The event benefits families of Hope for the Warriors.

Participating in the Holiday Sleigh 5K helps children through the charity of Hope for The warriors. The mission is to improve quality of life for the post-9/11 members of the service, along with their families and those of the fallen and those sustaining physical and psychological wounds while working in the line of duty.

Hope for the Warriors is a civilian non-profit organization. The organization has earned a four-star rating from Charity Navigator.

Participants and attendees are asked to donate an unwrapped holiday gift to the Holiday Sleigh. Donors will receive a free event T-shirt. Raffle tickets are also given out to people donating the gifts.

Poster printing will enable the organizers to communicate the event in a widespread manner. The poster should be printed in full color with a gloss finish, and can be hung on flat surfaces such as walls, pillars, windows, and doors throughout high-traffic areas. The more people who see the Posters, the greater the chance of widespread participation.

The Holiday Sleigh 5K will take place on November 16 from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm in Washington D.C. Registration may be submitted online. Fees are $30 for early bird and $40 for the 5K. Visit the website for complete information.
