The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is taking place in Washington, D. C. this month for three days, presented by the US Green Building Council.
The conference is set to consist of workshops, seminars, tours of local green buildings, and educational labs, and there will also be a LEED workshop and plenary speeches.
Several social events are taking place, including the Greenbuild Celebration ($85 a ticket), a leadership awards luncheon ($75), and the Women in Green Power Breakfast ($75 per ticket).
The expo will feature companies and organizations that are dedicated to green living; it will also include the Net Zero Energy Zone and the Greenbuild Show Home. Visitors to the expo can collect Stamps on a passport to win prizes.
Fees for the full conference are $700 for US Green Building Council members, $1,000 for nonmembers, and $400 for students. Tickets are also available for several associated events. The expo alone will cost $125 or $50 for students.
This conference will attract visitors to Washington, D. C. from all over, and many of those attending will no doubt be placing a new business card printing order in advance.
