Business boot camp planned for Washington start-ups

Residents of Washington and the surrounding communities who have a business idea but need some advice and support to help get it off the ground may wish to save the date for a workshop planned with them in mind.

The City Club of Washington will be the venue for the 2018 Start-Up Business Bootcamp, and it will provide those who participate with a variety of information, tools, and other resources they can use to get their start-up running. The function will be facilitated by Windsor, Wyeth & Ward, LLC’s Jason Fenwick, and lunch and a networking session will also be included in the day.

Topics on the agenda include tips for evaluating the feasibility of a business idea, the process of monetizing the venture, the phases in setting up a successful enterprise, sales strategies, and negotiating with potential buyers and investors.

After the instructional portion of the day has been completed, there will be a two-hour long networking session so that the attendees can get to know one another and share ideas and inspiration. A Print company can use comb binding and other techniques to produce manuals and other learning materials for this type of event.

The fee for this business boot camp is $697, and it will be held on February 16. More information is available on its event listing.
