Late spring can be a great time of the year to add a new member to the family, and Washington residents who would like to make a new furry friend are invited to attend an activity that may help them to do so.
West End Condo has partnered with the Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA) to help companion animals find loving forever homes by hosting an adoption afternoon. Both cats and dogs will be available, and there is no charge to take part.
HRA’s "Adopt Force One” bus will be rolling in for the occasion, giving the public a chance to meet some of its charges in person. In honor of the occasion, adoption fees will be lowered by $50, and to help maximize the impact of the activity, the public has been asked to bring along a donation of non-perishable pet food, bedding, toys, carriers, or other pet supplies.
When planning an event, organizers often want to build the buzz beforehand, as this can help ensure the function will be well attended. A flyer printing company can lend a hand by preparing marketing materials that fit in well with the budget set for a particular activity.
The adoption bus will be parked at 1320 21st NW in Washington on Sunday, June 8 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
