Stamford will be one of six Connecticut venues that will be holding Walks to End Epilepsy in early May.
This will be a family-friendly, non-competitive free jaunt to raise funds for and awareness of the Epilepsy Foundation Connecticut and Stamford’s epilepsy community.
A post-walk celebration will have free light snacks, sandwiches, and music.
Participants are encouraged to sign up online before May 4, form teams and raise funds. A 2023 Walk to End Epilepsy T-shirt sporting this year’s Logo Design can be bought at registration for $20. Teams that sign up before next Wednesday, April 12 can receive team Signs featuring their team Logo Design, or graphic design. Sponsorships are available at levels ranging from $500 to $6,000.
Registration and check-in will begin at 9:00 am. Featured speakers will begin at 10:0 am and the walk will commence at 10:10 am.
Those wishing to volunteer can sign up for check-in, set up, registration, T-shirt sales, food service, and clean-up.
