Stamford golfers tee off for education
The Stamford Education Foundation will be holding its Second Annual Golf Tournament in mid-June.
The tournament will be in a scramble format.
Foursome registration will be $1000 and single golfers can register for $250. Reception tickets are $100. Single Hole sponsorships are $250. Other sponsorships are available at $500, $1000, $2500, $5000, and $10,000 levels. Sponsors will receive registration, lunch and awards reception tickets for 1,2,4, or 8 players respectively.
The after-tournament reception will take place at 6:30 pm. Guests can enjoy a silent auction, hors d-oeuvres, and awards ceremony.
All proceeds from the event will go to supporting Stamford students through the foundation's tutoring and mentoring programs and book giveaways.
The event will open with a BBQ Lunch, and silent auction at noon with range warm-up at 12:30 pm. At 1:30 pm, golfers will go to their golf carts and begin the shotgun start. The awards reception will begin at 6:30 pm, with awards and prizes starting at 7:15 pm. The silent auction will close at 7:30 pm and the event will close at 8:00 pm.
Supporters for charities like this occasionally have some flyer printing done so they can put flyers up in their workplaces and throughout their neighborhoods.
