Many parents here in Stamford buying shoes for their kids to start school will be heading for KickSwap Stamford Sneaker Convention in mid-August.
Over 120 vendors will be selling, buying, and trading sneakers, hats, vintage clothing, sports cards, and collectibles. General admission holders can bring up to three pairs, VIP admission holders may bring up to five pairs, and vendors can bring unlimited supplies. Vendors who attend events like this often have custom Business Cards printed.
General admission tickets will be $10 with noon entry, and VIP tickets are $32 and will include 11:00 am early entry. The VIP tickets come with a special VIP lanyard and badge. Children under 10 get in free.
More than 1,000 people are expected to attend the 20,000 square feet venue, and many will be winning free prizes. Snacks and beverages will be available inside the event and around the Stamford Town Center.
Three vendor packages are available. The Bronze at the $125 level comes with a table, two chairs, two admission passes, and a vendor lanyard. The Silver $240 package includes four admission passes, two tables, four chairs, and a vendor lanyard, and the Gold $340 package has six admission passes, three tables, six chairs, and a vendor lanyard.
This year’s Stamford KickSwap will be from noon to 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 12 at Stamford Town Center.
