Santa will be found at his workshop at the 13th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival and Santa’s Workshop coming in a couple of weeks.
Visitors can observe live reindeer and meet old Saint Nick for photos. Some of the proceeds from the photos will go to Kids in Crisis, which provides critical social services to local families and furthers its cause by having its staff work with children’s local, state regional and national advocacies.
A Giving Tree for Kids in Crisis will be located at the venue.
Stamford guests can enjoy the Reindeer Coloring Station and write letters to Santa in the new Santa’s Workshop, and may want to shop for Christmas trees and holiday paraphernalia. Pictures taken with Santa or his reindeer often go to local Print shops to be made into personalized Christmas cards.
Dogs are invited to bring their owners for pet pictures with Santa when he is not working with the children. Cornell University veterinary Specialists are donating doggy swag Bags for canine visitors on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
The event will be at Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses at 437 North Street, Greenwich. The opening day will be November 26 and it will continue through December 24.
Santa will be available for photos on Fridays from noon until 6:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm.
