Music and food festival stretches over two weekends

Connecticut’s largest food and music festival, Hey Stamford, will return to town in mid-August. More than 50 food vendors, a beer garden and activities for the children will be available over two weekends.

Blind Rhino Beer Garden will be the entertainment on both Thursdays (August 11 and 18), and TGIF will provide entertainment for both Fridays (August 12 and 19). DJ Pauly D will perform on Saturday, August 13, and the Journey tribute band Resurrection will be on stage on Sunday, August 14. Flo Rida will take the stage on Saturday, August 20, and I Love the 90’s on the following day will feature Vanilla Ice, Young Mac, All 4 One, and Rob Base.

Admission to the beer garden will be free but tickets are required. A full festival Rockstar Foodie eight-day pass is $110. It includes admission to the festival and all entertainment, but not drinks or food. TGIF nights, admission will be $5. Tickets for the DJ Pauly D, Flo Rida, and Vanilla Ice nights are $30 each, and it is $25 for the Journey tribute night.

Fans at events such as this often wear paraphernalia sporting their favorite artists’ Logo Design.

Hey Stamford Food and Music Festival will take place in downtown Stamford at Mill River Park, on Thursday, August 11 through Sunday, August 14 on the first weekend, and Thursday, August 18 through Sunday, August 21 on the second.
