After a postponement in August due to poor weather, Stamford's Palace Theatre Annual Charity Golf Outing has been rescheduled for mid-October.
Individual golfer registration is $450 and includes a golf cart, 18 holes of golf, a catered lunch on the golf course patio, a pre-dinner silent auction and reception, swag Bags, and a catered dinner in the banquet hall. Mulligans (extra strokes) and six-inch yarns (for handicap shots) are available for purchase. Those wishing to attend the catered dinner only can buy tickets for $150.
All proceeds will go to support the Stamford's Center for the Arts Art Education Program and its Palace Theatre.
Check-in will begin at 10:30 am with lunch from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The shotgun start will be at 12:15 pm, and the reception will be from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm. That will be followed with the dinner from 5:45 to 7:30 pm.
The outing will be played in a shamble format. Businesspeople who attend golfing fundraisers like this often bring updated Business Cards to share with other professionals, using the event as a networking opportunity.
BMW of Darien has donated $10,000 to be awarded to the winner of the hole-in-one contest.
The 2024 Palace Theatre Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser will take place Tuesday, October 15 beginning at 10:30 am at the Rolling Hills Country Club, 333 Hurlbutt Street, Wilton.
