Chamber of commerce offers spring events

Stamford Chamber of Commerce has announced three events for members and non-members over the next three months.

More than 20 local eateries and drink establishments will be serving their specialties at this year’s 2022 Taste of Stamford. Admission will be $85 for non-members and $75 for Chamber of Commerce members.

This culinary extravaganza will be held Thursday, March 24 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Harbor Terrace at Shippan Landing, 262 Harbor Drive.

Mayor Caroline Simmons will give the keynote address for the State of the City at the Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center on Thursday, April 28. Admission will be $85 for members and $95 for non-members.

Monday, May 16 the Chamber will hold its 32nd Annual Member-Guest Golf Tournament.

The tournament will include breakfast and lunch, cart and green fees, challenge hole prizes, and range balls. This year’s format will be a four-person scramble.

The event will begin at 7:00 am with breakfast and registration. That will be followed by the shotgun start at 8:00 am.

Individual golfer registration is $250. Each $100 Hole sponsorship comes with the business’s Logo Design on one designated tee, and inclusion in the Digital Program Book. The $1,000 Par Sponsorship adds a foursome and upgrades the digital program entry to an ad. The $1,500 Birdie sponsorship, meanwhile, adds recognition at the Awards Luncheon.

This year’s tournament will be played at the E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course.
