Nonprofit fundraising race to take place in Newtown
Bookin’ 4 Lookin’ is hosting a fundraising 5K and 10K in Newtown this April.
The 10K will start at 8:30 am, and the 5K will start shortly after. Both courses begin at Council Rock North High School, loop through Tyler Park and finish back at the high school track. They include a mixture of flat sections and hills. Snacks will be available for runners after they finish the race, and there will be a designated area for taking photos.
Online registration will be open until 10 minutes before the start. The fee is $35 in advance or $40 on race day. All participants will receive a race T-shirt. The winners in each age category will receive branded travel mugs. Participants can pick up their bibs and shirts from 7:15 to 8:15 am on race day or at the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired the day before from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Nonprofits often use poster printing services to help promote their fundraisers.
Proceeds from the race will support the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, which provides services like vision screenings for preschoolers and individualized in-home support to allow clients to live independently.
